01 / THE SCOPE

Understand the condition before planning the work

A property visit can help you review visible conditions, document areas of concern and organize maintenance or preservation priorities. Tell us what you need to understand about the property and which areas should be included. The agreed scope determines the access needed, observations and reporting for the visit.

Exterior condition

Visible condition around the home, entry points, exterior surfaces and accessible grounds.

Interior observations

Accessible interior areas, with attention to the conditions and concerns specified in the request.

Entry & securing

Review of accessible doors, windows and property-access details within the agreed scope.

Maintenance needs

Visible upkeep, cleanup or minor-repair items that may need a follow-up work order.

Photo documentation

Clear images of the requested areas and observed conditions to support your review.

Property-status updates

Practical reporting that helps owners and managers discuss priorities and next steps.

02 / PLAN THE WORK

Define the questions the visit should answer

An inspection request is more useful when it names the areas or concerns to review. Share any existing records so the visit can focus on the information you need.

  • Property address, occupancy and authorization to enter
  • Access contact, lockbox arrangements and restrictions
  • Areas of concern and any earlier photos or reports
  • Required photos, reporting format and preferred timing

CARE WITH A CLEAR SCOPE

Property information for owners and asset teams

Texas-based SIERRA MAP LLC supports requests for individual homes and portfolios across the United States. Let us know the location and purpose of the visit so we can confirm the scope and schedule. These services focus on visual property condition and reporting; they are not presented as a structural certification, appraisal or code-compliance approval.

03 / COMMON QUESTIONS

A little clarity.
Before we begin.

Have a specific property or scope in mind? Let’s talk through the details.

What does a property-condition check cover?

It covers the accessible areas and visible conditions agreed in the request. You can ask for interior or exterior observations, photos, entry-condition checks and identification of upkeep needs.

Is this the same as a homebuyer inspection?

Do not assume the scopes are the same. Our described service is a visual property-condition review for preservation and maintenance planning. Tell us if you need a licensed home inspection or another specialist assessment.

Can I request a check of a vacant property?

Yes. Include the current occupancy information, authorized access instructions and the conditions you want documented. The visit and reporting scope are confirmed before scheduling.

Can findings lead to a maintenance request?

Yes. After reviewing the observations, you can discuss a separate scope for cleanup, securing, lawn care or repairs. Identifying an item does not automatically authorize additional work.
